On windiws xp, you must right click the taskbar first & uncheck Lock the Taskbar this way you can move it. Click somewhere on the center of the task bar and drag it to where u want it.

hey, the only thing u need to do is, drag the taskbar from the position to where u want it. Dragging is a process where one hold the object by pressing the left button of the mouse.

find the clock on the taskbar. hover over it with mouse pointer. Now press and hold the left mouse button. NOW without looking (because it will mess you up) move the mouse in a downward motion about 4 inches then release the left button. VOILA!

If you are running windows ex right click on the toolbar and there is the option to place the toolbar vertically or horizontally.
