I am kind of seeing this guy and i know that he likes me, but it seems that he will tell me that this girl was so hot that he was talking to or that these girls are giving him phone numbers left and right. He notices that it bugs me because i become quite and non talkative. and i know that he cares...but i just want to know what the deal is. we've kissed and we enjoy being together so i don't know. I mean does he really not like me or is he testing me or what? I don't understand guys...i mean i know that i am not the prettiest girl in the world...but i ain't half bad. so i don't get it...

Sometimes when guys feel a little insecure or have other personal issuses they can act a little wierd. He might be looking for reassurance that you are still interested and are happy with him. By telling you other girls are good looking and that he gets numbers he is trying to make himself seem more appealing and at the same time is judging your reaction. When he sees that this upsets you it means that you are still interested in him. I know it doesn't make much sense and it's pretty childish. However, I have no doubt he likes you and is happy with you. It really has nothing to do with you but with himself. Maybe you could just reassure him and tell him how much you enjoy being with you. If he keeps it up just talk to him, I'm sure he'll understand. You have every right to be annoyed and confused. And if it gets worse just give him the boot! But I'm sure you have nothing to worry about. You sound like a great person....take care and good luck to ya!

I'm sure some guys probably do that, and he's probably doing it to test you, but I personally wouldn't do that. I think it's kinda disrespectful for a guy to do that.
