The "glory be"

The Eucharistic prayers of Consecration are the most powerful, after that I would put the Our Father as the perfect prayer taught to us by Jesus Christ. There are many prayers without words, a lifting of the heart and mind to God is prayer and that is powerful too. Even the sign of the cross is a powerful prayer as it is saying "Yes, I believe in you God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit" The Hail Mary is a prayer that is also very powerful and I do not understand why you say it is not, unless of course you are not Catholic.

They are all powerful as they are all formal conversations and communions with the Lord Almighty. The prayers are just different ways to talk to god, the Nicene creed being a summary of faith, the Glory be a glorification of God, the Hail Mary a prayer with the Virgin Mary, the Rosary being a string of prayers together. They can't be compared to each other as that would be like comparing apples with oranges.

The prayer I think is most powerful after the Lords Prayer and Hail Mary is THE CREED.

Hail mary

What sort of power are you referring to?
Prayer, any prayer, is only as powerful as the feeling instilled in it by the person doing the praying.
I can say the Our Father till the cows come home, it wouldn't mean diddly-squat! And I'm a 'catholic'.

I am not sure what you mean by most powerful prayer. Prayer is not usually measured in this way.

The prayer that is prayed most often is the Sign of the Cross.

I open my hand and touch my brow, and say,
"In the name of the Father"

Then I touch my heart with my hand, and say,
"and of the Son"

I touch my shoulders left and right, and say,
"and of the Holy Spirit"

I say,
"Amen."

The Sign of the Cross is
- A statement of belief in the Holy Trinity
- A statement of belief in and thanksgiving for Jesus' sacrifice on the Cross
- God blessing us
- Us Blessing God ("I will bless the Lord at all times")
- A prayer using your entire body

With love in Christ.

Eucharistic Prayers (during consecration)

there is no more powerful prayer than the ones, plural of righteous ones praying them. the Lords prayer, or our father is only a model prayer to be used to assist us in prayer not one we say verbatim. of course you may recite it so is you genuinely desire to.

There is no power in pre-formulated, ritual prayers. God wants to talk to Him from the heart.
