"BDSM" is an acronym of "B&D" (Bondage & Discipline), "D&S" (Dominance & Submission), and "S&M" (sadomasochism). "BDSM" refers to any or all of these things, and a lot of stuff besides.

Tying up your lover is BDSM; so is flogging that person, or bossing that person around, or any of a thousand other things. BDSM is highly erotic, usually (though not always) involves sex or sexual tension; and is highly psychologically charged. One person (the "submissive") agrees to submit to another person (the "dominant"); or, alternately, one person agrees to receive some sort of sensation, such as spanking, from another.

Some people like to be submissive all the time, some people like to be dominant all the time; some people like to switch, being submissive one day and dominant the next.

Many people practice some element of BDSM in their sexual lives without even necessarily being aware of it. They may think of "S&M" as "That sick stuff that people do with whips and cattle prods and stuff," yet still blindfold one another from time to time, or tie one another down and break out the whipped cream...

All of these things are "BDSM." BDSM is not necessarily hardcore sadomasochism; it can be remarkably subtle and sensual and soft. Pinning your partner to the bed and running silk or ice cubes or rabbit fur over your lover's body qualifies as "BDSM" (specifically, of a variety called "sensation play").

Despite what the girl above said, it's not about beating people, that's sadism and masochism (which is taking pleasure from hurting people or being hurt. Always done in a safe matter where the partners know their boundaries). Bondage is the practice of being restricted from doing things by being tied, roped, cuffed, etc. You can tie someone with rope, bondage tape (which only sticks to itself), ribbons, using hand cuffs or ankle cuffs and things of that nature. Bondage also includes blindfolding and gagging.

The best type of foreplay it what you like the best. Whether that's bondage, strip teasing, teasing your partner in general, or just jumping right into the act.

Bondage is keeping someone bound up. It does not have to be extreme it can be just holding a persons hands so that they can not touch you or tying them up or handcuffing them. The important thing about bondage is knowing your limit and your mates limit. Having a safe word a word that cannot be mistaken that means that you or your mate would like to be let loose of whatever type of bondage you are into. The foreplay thing depends on the person. Try different things and be tentative to the reaction.

I agree with valkyries78 in that playful, erotic, restrained tickling is an AWESOME form of bondage and foreplay.

As long as one or both parties are ticklish, care about each other, respect each other and trust each other, this is one of the best extended foreplays available!

After the person is restrained to the bed, start off with soft playful tickling, exploring each and every ticklish place on the body and exploiting them for 10 - 15 seconds before offering an air break. As the ticklee builds their trust and confidence levels, they need fewer and fewer air breaks.

After about 20 - 30 minutes of playful tickling (maybe longer if they are really enjoying it a lot!), then phase into playful tickle torture. This is still gentle tickling (you don’t want to dig in deep and hurt the ticklee unless that is the way they most enjoy being tickled) but the air breaks are further apart and there is more playful taunting and teasing which makes the ticklee laugh even harder. During this stage, it is not uncommon for people to get very turned on if there is nudity or if the partners have that type of relationship.

From their, phase into erotic tickling. Softer, gentle tickling in erotic places. This can be coupled with fondling, worshipping, massaging… all while the partner is tied down. Ostrich feathers and soft paint brushes work well in erotic tickling, too.

For the grand finale, you might want to incorporate 30 - 60 minutes of ticklish orgasm denial where you build a orgasm and take it away with a tickle attack - leads to incredible climax every time!

One other great thing about consensual tickling is that it causes your brain to flood your body with endorphins while you are laughing. This gives you a natural high and makes you feel refreshed even if the tickling tires you out!

(PS. I invite valkyries78, and any other ladies who might be interested, to contact me if tickling interests you)

Bondage is tying or restraining a partner as part of sex play.

The best form of foreplay is putting the female in bondage, stripping her, and then teasing her just short of orgasm for an hour or so ...

Best type of foreplay: Bondage.
Bondage is when you tie your partner down so they can't get away, and tickle and tease them until they are aching for it. The slow build of sexual tension has a huge pay off. Especially if you gag them so they can't scream when they hit O. very intense.

Bondage is tying someone up (in general terms)

The best type of foreplay to me is something that builds the sexual tension, whether that be watching a dirty movie, giving a naked massage or just touching each other.

its most basic sense, the word bondage refers to the state or condition of being bound to an unfree labor system, as in slavery, indentured servitude, or serfdom. More generally, "bondage" may refer to any state of subjection to a force, influence, or power
Any type of foreplay is good.

bondage is simply being tied up or held down for the pleasure of your partner! The best foreplay that I found is soft touching everywhere, some time spent longer in wet places than on dry land:-)
