This past friday evening at work, I came to one restroom I did not want to clean;just simply pass it up. The Holy Spirit simply asked me "Has Christ ever short changed You?" I said " No" He asked " Why Start Now?" So I went ahead and finished the clean up. I know there seems to be a passage for this. yet Our God is awesome when He confronts us right on our tracks. He loves us to confront us to keep us on our path towards Him~
Love sissa~

He gave you the motivation to finish the job when you felt like giving up. God doesn't give up on us and he lets us know it in many different ways all of the time. I think it is sad that people deny his awesomeness! I don't know how they can deny his works.

It seems you have a good connection with God. How lovely that He would speak to you!

In the Bible, I suppose the closest thing that would come to commentary on conscientiousness at work is the parable about the servants who were given charge over part of the master's treasure. The one who took good care of it and multiplied it was rewarded.

In the Baha'i Faith, work is held to be a form of prayer. Work done in the spirit of Love blesses all involved.

True Statement . but it is not Confrontation. it is the Holy Spirit putting a Check or reminder in your Spirit. So while The Holy Spirit was talking , you have evidence because you heard it. Many Hear it and disregard it, Bless you.

Yes, but not about cleaning. Maybe your usual good work is being noticed by someone who knows you're a Chritian. Man, once people know you're a Christian, they watch your every move.
It happened yesterday. I didn't want my mother's friend to come over. The Holy Spirit reminded me tht when I need something, He is always there to receive me & my prayers. I let the lady come over & God used me to minister to a fellow Christian who was in a bad place in her life now. I thank God I was obedient to Him.

That is wonderful that you are open to his love, I feel like that too. I came to Christ recently, and I find that in the midst of a day, I will feel a "nudging" or a prescence, and it restores my heart with the greater purpose of serving him. The Lord loves us so much, and he will never let us go. Just as we yearn to never let him ago. Praise be to God, and his son Jesus, the savior for all mankind. My life has changed because of him, and I never thought it would happen to me. I am so blessed to have been saved!

I know exactly how you feel....lol....I'm confronted with the Holy Spirit all the time...lol. Sometime, I listen and sometime I don't but one thing I know....God has never left me...even when I did wrong and even when I tuned out His voice. And for that I' am thankful. :)

When we are sensitive to the Holy Spirit's voice, and obey it, then He can trust us with more responsibility. If we are faithful in little things, then we will be rewarded with much. Praise God.

...and we need to remember to thank Him in even the smallest of miracles! I can't tell you how many times I've audibly thanked Him for allowing me to merge on the Houston freeways easily or locate my missing car keys when I'm late or come safely through a torrential downpour to the safety of my house (and the electricity hasn't gone out so that I can open the garage door)!

"Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." 1 Corinthians 10:31

Whatever I do, I try to do with excellence. However, I've had those ugly little 'restrooms' in my life, too! I know what you're saying!

God loves perfection and (He also loves cleanliness.)

I think a person should strive to do the very best in whatever that person does.

It's a parallel to our spiritual walk.
If we are sloppy in the natural, we're probably sloppy in the spiritual too.

So, it's nice that you are so in tune with the still, small voice of God that He would nudge you in little things of your daily walk.

And its even more wonderful that you heed that voice.
