You probably did find a scale in it. You could have found something much worse, all considered. Yes, Tuna do have scales. Tuna is a pelagic species of fish and they have scales. As for suing the company who produced it, think twice here. I'm sure they policies in place relieving them from liability from one scale being found, but what the hell, call a Lawyer and see what he says. That is if you kept the scale and have the can it presumably came from.

Of course tuna has scales, it's a fish for crying out loud.
And you can certainly try to sue if you want to, but I doubt anyone would take the case. It's not like you found anything unexpected. In the future try buying a better quality tuna, like Starkist.

First of all, chicken of the sea is not really tuna, it is chicken. Chickens do not have scales....Silly Boy!! However, if you are looking for a tasty treat you should try "Turkey of the Dirt" It's not turkey, but it sure doesn't look like it. I have no legs.

I don't know really but you can't sue over one fish scale, well it could have been something other than a fish scale and then you could sue 4 real!!!

tuna fish have scales, and suing them won't get you anywhere because it says on the can that this can of tuna may contain such parts as scales and bones.
