why wont my bf stop hitting my friend, she is so scared and I tell her over and over and over again to tell the police and for some reason she wont I dont know why. So I told them myself and they said they kneed proof of him hitting her, and w/ out her there they cant. she wont go w/ me ether. me and my bf broke up yesterday and now she is even more scared. most of you will proboly say "she can take care of herself" I know she can but she wont so what can I do to make him stop it could mess up her life.

if hes a psycho he might take you breaking up with him as her fault and he might become more violent towards her, you need to explain that to her, and that no man has the right to hit a women ever.. and for her not to report him is her giving him the freedom to go find another innocent person to smack up, she needs to report him before he hurts either her, you or another person..
weldone for breaking up with him thats one of the best things you could have done, dont get back with him even if he grovels or begs or whatever, he might turn on you and men that hit women will always hit women..

You can't do a thing. It's up to your friend to put a stop to this situation. You went to the police and they told you the way it is. Unless she files against him and has some kind of proof, their hands are tied.
Tell your friend to defend herself with whatever means are at her disposal... unless of course she likes getting beat up.
My question is, why would your boyfriend be beating on your friend?

tell the parents regardless of age, normally a parent of either party hitter or hittee, will take action. just an idea. or find the biggest guy in a bar hit on him for a while and tell him ya gotta problem that needs a big strong man... (I am a bit evil) he he he good luck hope the sob gets his butt worked good.

Why is your bf hitting your friend??? You can try to be supportive, but if she is not willing to go to the police, there isnt much you can do.
