They do eat grasshoppers, and crickets as well, and spiders as well as other bugs and insects.

Robins are also fruit eaters and are often seen eating blueberries and raspberries. They also seem fond of huckleberries, and other berries that grow in bushes.

robins will also eat seeds if they have to. sometimes they come north a week or so too early and the ground is still hard and no worms or other bugs are around. at that time they will frequent my bird feeders. once the 'live' food is available--like worms, they desert the feeders. this trait of being able to eat seeds keeps robins alive that would otherwise starve. purple martins, on the other hand, will not eat anything other than flying insects. there have been reported cases of whole colonies of purple martins starving to death because they flew north too soon and there weren't enough flying insects to eat to keep them alive.

Lice, feces that will eventually eat them from the inside out!if they are sick! i would suppose also that if they are sick they could have maggots too! i had a baby squirrel that had three of them but once he got better he expelled them,so they are a good thing!sounds sick but its a good thing!
