Well, I think that between your two options, you're better off alone. Coming from someone who has dated guys in the past that came between me and my parents, it's best to stay away from them. Listen to your parents! I'm only 20 yrs. old, and if they don't think the 1st guy is good for you, then get out of the relationship. And if the second (new) guy is turning out to not be so great, then get out of that relationship too! Be alone for a little while, another guy will pop up out of no where, trust me! Good Luck!

There is no limit to the number of people you can date at the same time. It makes it much more interesting and it takes alot of energy to do that. Congrats.

The best way to tell who is best for you is to remember a few things about what we really need and want from another person...

First off, we need open communication because that builds trust.

Then, we need a genuine friendship because those will last a lifetime , through the thick and the thin of it.

Then we want to be able to share our lives and our values with that someone special too. Values such as:

Honesty
Trust
Respect
Caring
Sharing
Appreciation
A Sense of Humor
Unconditional Love

It really helps to be able to grow both as a couple and as individuals and each person respecting the other's need to try new things while sharing it all with them. No matter what, we just want our special someone to be happy and we only want the very best for them and from them , always.

So, as you meet more and more people and go out with many people ask yourself if any of them believe and practice in the few things i've mentioned above.. If they do, stick with them, they will always make you smile and give you a very happy heart to share in too!

You should go back out with your ex. He has changed. Just dump your other guy before he dumps you.
