Suicide is a sin--no doubt about that, however God knows a person's heart and doesn't just judge by their actions. So there is a good chance that this person could be resurrected--but to heaven? Probably not, because heaven is reserved to those who have conquered the world and will rule with kings and priests with Christ. So, this person will be most likely resurrected to life on earth once Satan has been locked up. Then they will be taught by lovers of God and given a chance to have eternal life on earth with other meek ones who want to live peacefully.

Since there's no evidence of any kind for heaven (or hell), somebody who commits suicide is just dead -- like everybody else who dies is just dead.

Accept it, it's a fact -- there is no afterlife. I know many of you are scared of dying, and scared that there won't be anything beyond this life, but that's the way it is. Instead of worrying about heaven or hell after this life, why not make the most of the time you have and make the world a better place while you're here?

Don't commit suicide. The Bible says it is a mortal sin. Even if it didn't our lives are here for a purpose and if we cut them short before our time we are playing with fate. There is so much to life that we will never understand until we do die and then who knows? If you are asking because you are thinking about it,please don't. Find help. Someone in this world will help you if you keep asking. Peace.

You Know, God gave us our life and he is the only one who can take it away from us, so to answer your question no , people who commit suicide do not go to heaven, they go to hell.People may tell you as long as you accept god as your personal savior , you have no sins but suicide is a sin it does not have to say don't suicide in the bible. the bible says that you shall not kill and when someone kills themselves they can't ask for forgiveness because they are already dead and they die with that sin and go to hell. Many times the music that you listen to has subliminal messages and encourages someone to commit suicide. God came to the world to forgive your sins and took the keys of life away from the devil, so god is the only one who decides when your lie time is done.

If he/she believes in Jesus Christ as Lord & Savior, yes. However, Christians who have a relationship w/ Christ as Lord & Savior wouldn't commit suicide. When I thought about this question, the people from the WTC came to mind. I remember how some of them jumped to their deaths instead of dying in the flames. I don't consider this suicide. The Bible tells u Jesus can wash away any sin, even murder & suicide is self-murder. God is good & merciful beyond what we can fathom. See the links below for scripture reference.

It depends. If the person commits suicide and still conscience enough to ask forgiveness then he or she can go to heaven. But if not then he or she will go to Hell. But we have no way to know if that person asked for forgiveness. But if or some one you know are thinking about suicide my advice is to seek help through a counselor or therapist.

If you know it is wrong and you do it... you sin... Do sinners go to heaven? NO of course not.

But.... there are exceptions.... some people who commit suicide think they are doing the right thing... they are sick in their minds... they need help. But if they don't get the help they need....and commit suicide.... then God is the final judge.... He alone knows the state of their mind, and the sickness of their body... Whether we are sinners, sick or saints...we will all face God... The thing is are you ready to meet Him? Don't take a short-cut to get to see Him early.... That's not God's way. Seek help here and then meet Him when He chooses!

If he/she is saved by believeing in Christ, yes. In fact, when the person commits suicide, the person goes to heaven faster (as in before his/her time). Then that person will realize that there is no reason for him/her to do that when God is so good and have already blessed us with all spiritual blessings in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus.

Shalom.

I believe personally, that God, who is the judge of us all, decides who goes and who doesn't. Suicide isn't right. But sometimes circumstances force a person into decissions no one should have to make. They are"mentally ill" at the time. to kill ones self, even though it has been called that isn't"selfish" the person ultimatly has hit a wall/reached a place they can no longer see past , and they feel they have no more hope. Sometimes, before it really is too late, they can be talked out of it, sometimes not. I'm leaving the judging to God, because its his to decide, but I feel God is "our Father" and willing to forgive thise who make mistakes, especially when one is ill.

possibly, it depends if they were saved in the 1st place. While suicide is not a forgiveable sin because forgiveness seems to be primarily for this life and not after its not going to revoke their salvation. To those who think suicide is blasphemy, well all I can say is you need to study what blasphemy really is.
Its important to remember though, God has a plan for everyones life and suicide is an intentional act that destroys that plan. We all must account for our actions and this will be one.
