This is a common misunderstanding, laptop os an acronym for 'Little And Pricey, Tables Or Pants', meaning it may be small and expensive but you can put it on your pants (trousers) or a table. I hope this helps

Well it could be but don`t try it with your pet on your lap aswell, as you might find there will be a conflict.
