Okay, I keep reading posts that say "illegals think..." So my question is how does anyone know what they think

Where are you getting this information. I personally don't know any illegals so I have no way of asking. Well, I could have gone to the homebuilder construction sites and asked, but the INS just busted a few of them.

Are the people posting these thoughts just making them up? Are you getting them from Fox News? Rush? Al Franken? CNN?

You know what they say about people who assume things.........

Can't we assume then that the illegals came here cause they couldn't find work in their own country? Had an illegal friend from Poland who came here because he couldn't find a job in Poland.

You know what? I totally agree with you. The only people we hear it from is the media, who really does nothing but feed us mindless crap the government wants us to believe. So, unless you go and ask, we'll never know...*sigh*

I used to work where many were hired-I listened to them and they listen to me. They knew where I stood and did not hold it against me. I do not support Law breakers. Or those who support the breaking of law. Don't ask me to lie or break the law for you.
They were nice and I was nice. Many supporters do not represent them in their views. Some do.
So we get our information from everywhere. It has nothing to do with them personally. Most of them know are reasons. Some listen-some don't.
Times are changing-I would say to those who are Illegal -they better do something to get legal-because this country can not afford the impact that a mass of people have caused. And their future is not bright here. 90% say no Amnesty and close the boarders-the government will have to bend.

You can assume what someone is thinking by their actions. Why does a drug dealer sell drugs? I think it's safe to assume that he thinks it's the best/easiest way to make money.

Why do illegals sneak into our country? It's because they think it's ok to break our laws instead of fixing their own country. If they can gather enough strength and money to sneak into America, then why can't they use that energy and financing toward rising up and fixing their own government?

Aside from news sources (which can put a twist on anything)... it's best to just ask the illegal person. I used to know one - but you know how these things go.

They're not an illegal anymore. They headed back to their own country... Canada.

It drives me crazy that when discussing immigration, the focus is on Latin nations. I understand why that is - but it's so short sighted.

You are right, almost all DONT know what they are thinking. You wouldnt know unless you are them, or are friends with them and ask how they think.
