the meek will inherit the earth. so if so then why should it be that the strong will have to fight for it for them?

because the dictionary defines "meek" as
lacking in spirit or backbone, submissive.
who else is going to fight for it?

Whether meek or strong will inherit this earth ? Who want it ? The earth will never a peaceful place. I rather go to heaven.

Pride is what caused Adam to sin, and thereby lose dominion over the earth to Satan. After that, mankind was totally unable to do anything to fix things.
That's why we needed Jesus.
In this passage Jesus is looking ahead to his crucifixion, when Satan's power over the earth would be destroyed, and then, to his second coming, when God will fight for the meek (the faithful, not the prideful), and he'll win, finally and completely destroying evil.
It's then that the meek will inherit the earth, and they'll get to keep it forever, through God's power, not man's power.

There will be peace on earth when the meek inherit it--there will be no need of "the strong" (as you called them) or any sort of violence.
