My niece gave her bridesmaids a tote bag that she made filled with fancy thongs to wear at the reception so that their feet didn't hurt along with Bath and Bodyworks small lotions and shower gels and a Yankee Candle. Everyone seemed to like them and they were useful as well as good for a tight budget.

Since you have six, you probably dont want to spend a lot of money or it might get pretty expensive. I had a friend once who simply gave all her bridesmaids a gift certificate for a massage from the spa in town. Or you could get creative and make something. Decorate picture frames and put a pic of you with each of the girls in them.

Frequently the bride will get them jewelry to wear on the wedding day, something that matches their dresses. If you don't want to do that, then some Bath and Body works stuff is always great--I personally LOVE it whenever I get that, and I'll use it too. Check out theknot.com for other suggestions for gifts, but it's basically a little, sweet, thank you gift for their help. I'd stay away from those wedding "souvenirs" that have your wedding date and names on them, MOST people will wind up taking them to be polite, and then they'll wind up in the recycling bin or trash. You don't want to spend your $$ on stuff like that, kwim? Congrats and good luck!

I like something personal. The traditional is jewlry of course. But for me we did musical globes. They each said something different. You could do purses.
A good website is

Here are two websites to get you started. Go under google search engine and just put bridesmaids gifts. That will get you A LOT of sites.
Have fun planning your wedding and congrats.
