there is a nest close to my house and 2 of the 3 little birds are missing ...the mom is very very upset n tried to hit me...all i can think of is that maybe some animal ate the 2 little birds....

i know that there is a big iguana near by ...so i wonder do they eat small birds..? they were just baby birds

any number of things could have eaten the birds: mice, rats, other birds, squirrels, snakes....etc.

Iguanas are vegetarian and they don't eat baby birds. Only baby iguanas might small insects but nothing more. I'm sure of this and have searched it too. But sorry I don't know what any other animal(s) would do this.

If the iguana is hungry enough then yes it would eat the baby birds.

well, iguanas are vegitarians, so it may have mistaken them for strawberries or fruit fo some sort.

your mom hit you because birds are missing? sounds fishy to me, maybe she had something to do with the didiperance, either way, that is child abuse, call a social worker or a lawer.

If it is a green iguana they are entirely vegetarian and will not eat birds.

It is probably more likely that a snake ate the birds, unless you are in the keys

i don't know if they eat birds but it is really possible that they do so i would go to an animal shelter and ask or go to the local vet and ask they might now.

two of my daughters had iguanas and they're veggie eaters. lettuce,,green beans,,carrots,,tomatoes,plus others. there's mealworms u can get at the pet shop as a snack but mainly veggies........now one of my daughters has a huge bearded dragon and he's also a veggie eater. plus a few crickets now and then,,,,,,but she does keep her tarantula away from it........
