i have like almost all the requirements...just 1 problem. when i open the game it loads fine, out of nowhere it pops down and says not enough MB of RAM. i looked at my computer settings and it was on 255 and i need like 256 or something for the game. is it possible to like download something for my computer that will give me more MB?

You cannot download more RAM, but you can buy more. Go down to your local computer store and ask them about getting some more. You can also try closing down memory hogs like messengers and the like but obviously not your modem, or you wouldn't be able to play on Steam anyways :) Good luck with your problems!

buy another stick or 2 of RAM. it's like $50 for another 256MB and Source will run *a lot* better with 512MB of RAM. check out buy.com, they have a wizard that lets you figure out exactly which type of RAM you need.
that's probably a bug, by the way - and no, you can't download something to give you more RAM.

just close the programs u dont need at the moment like uhhh ur firewall just turn off ur modem so noone can get in turn it off turn off ur everyting just leave that prog ur running open
