Nervous. It doesn't matter how manly a guy might look and act normally, if he acts nervous in any way shape or form when he is with you, it's a sure sign he's interested.
I agree with the majority here too. Being shy and quiet when he's around you means he's nervous. A big hint I've found is if you look them in the eyes and theirs dart away quickly. It means they really like you.
This is all assuming that he doesn't know how to act around you like the question states. Otherwise the signs will be very different.

He'll make you like his own lil' center of attention, he'll sit really close to you, and he'll blush, and he'll talk to you alot, and he'll want to hang out with you more often; sometimes with friends but he'll try to get you two alone. There's so many different ways they act. And sometimes if another guy starts talking to you he'll come over just to see if they're hitting on you, jealous. Basically if they act different around you then they do around other girls, or if you know the guy well and they act different around you then they use to then they're probably into you!

If the guy keeps staring at you it's definetly a sign that he's interested and if he acts all tough and he tries to show off then that's a sign too. Some times they act shy and quiet it's so cute

usually quiet, but likes to hang out with you alot, and not afraid to take u out in public and be seen with you! Some guys have a hard way of expressing feelings, trust me, I'm in one of those now....but after 6 months, he's opening upmore.....jus give him time

Shy and maybe overthinking his statments to not apear stupid. Nervouness is good it means he really does like you so give him a chance to open up.

he'll tend to blush a little, look away from your eyes, talk quietly, move slowly, and/or act all goofy around you
