I come across many guys online that respond to my ad and although we haven't even got to know each other and only exchanges a few light emails, they ask if I want to meet them. I do not like to meet a guy until I have chatted with him a little and found out some things about him, asked him a few questions. I feel that when a guy wants to meet right away ( like one or two days later) it is a red flag. I like to wait a week or so. I delete guys who want to meet right away.

Hey...I feel exactly the same...I mean what's the point of beeing hurry??? We still have the time...I think they do that because they are so desperate to get a real gal for them!

If they insist...sometimes I agree to meet them, ask them to wear some particular clothes...like you should wear read hat and red shirt. Once you see them and you dont like them...you can still ran away...hehehehehe

that sounds really fishy, I would beware and delete that right away. There are plenty of other people out there to chat with that will meet what you feel comfortable with. If your mind is telling you that something is wrong and is giving you a red flag, LISTEN you're intuition is usually right!!

There are so many women who falls for that and ya never see them again. I wouldn't take a chance like that and if you did take someone with you. DO NOT go and meet someone you know nothing about by yourself. There are cruel people in this world and you never know who is out to hurt you. If you agree to meet those guys, please take a girlfriend with you and do not let her leave you alone with the guy!!! Good Luck.

You have to do things your way or else you wont be comfortable and it will be a wast of time. This is a great way to gauge his patientce, if he is down to listen to you and email somemore and then graduate to talking on the phone, at that point it's ok to ask about getting coffee or something chill. So put the brakes on and follow that female intution, you have it for a reason don't ignore it ok............peace

You are doing the right thing, too many creeps around. Be cautious and always meet in a public place and tell someone where you are going and who you are meeting.

Just tell them straight forward that you want to talk to them for a little while to get to know them first. If the guy is seriously interested in getting to know you as well, he should be fine and understand. If he doesn't understand this then you shouldn't bother with him. Good luck!
