If God made man, why did he give him a brain, which when used man results in rejecting god as a concept? Why would god give us a brain of logic and then ask of us to refrain from using it, but instead just accept a truth based on anything but logic?

The “free will” answers are a joke! It’s like god giving you leg’s and telling you “now fly, you have free will”. I’ll go on foot, thank you…

Why did God give man a brain....?
Simply, why not !!?? if God is capable of everything.

About logic...?
God asks us in the Quran to think, to wonder, to work hard to find the truth in the universe, between planets, and between plans and rain and in ourselves. God asks us to reason everything and find logical and scientific answers to all these things, simply because science is nothing but God creation.

God best Gift of all to man, is Intelligence, use it, find out in your own how much more than doubting him you can achieve freely and in your own if you use it.???? The word is Intelligence. a good thing to remember it could be that you can rearrange the factors in any way you want, this is something that in mathematics is best known as "The order of the Factors will not alter the product". try to think about what you call logic??? and do it.

What you're referring to is the mind and observation of the mind. Without subjection, observing the universe will result in the conclusion that there isn't a santa claus.

That's funny robert, God gave us bad tools? So he's already damned us then wouldn't you say? If god didn't like what he made then he should get bent. It's not our problem, it's his.

Reason is a part of the human being. With free will choice humanity can choose many things that would not be ultimately spiritual in the sight of God.

Look what having a brain has done. Maybe we have war.
But we also have airplanes, tv, computers, autos
famalarries love those shoes.
beautiful homes with carpet and we feed the animals who don't have as large a brain as we do. Yet they have many other qualities god gave them. dog's nose is better than ours.
We all work and live together on this planet. it is our only home.

Your argument is fallacious... God gave us brain to use to come to accept Him "based" on logic... for we come to appreciate His qualities by our "understanding" of creation... We are to use our logic to "accept" Him...

The assumption that use of logic disproves God is based on an error, for it assumes that to accept God is to be illogical. Quite the contrary!

It is absolutely ILLOGICAL to deny God, for the fool has said in his heart that there is no God. Yes, it is "foolish" to think there is no God. This is true.

Case for Creator (Lee Strobel)
Case for Christ (Lee Strobel)
The New Evidence that Demands a Verdict (Josh McDowell)

In fact some of the smartest men/women are/were Christians...

The reason that people "using" their brain may come to conclusion that He doesn't exist is because of "errors" in their thinking. It is possible to make "errors" in thinking, don't you agree? But God is not responsible for this error, is He? But God gave us brains so that people can eventually come to realize his/her mistakes... Else ALL would indeed be fools, and ALL would deny God...

Those books have all the facts one needs to realize there "MUST" be God...

But it is true that God also chose faith, which does not depend on logic, to bring us to God... Why? Because He chose the foolish things of this world to shame the wise, so that noone can boast before Him... this is for our good, actually...

God didn't make us like that, we became that way when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowlege of good and evil. If you want to know more read in the Bible, Genesis chapter 3.

Strange, but Einstein's brain didn't lead him to reject god as a concept. Quite the contrary.

Maybe you can get yours overhauled to work better.

he gave us a brain so that we could make things such as medicine and airplanes so that we would have the gift of technology and be able to heal people but i think he also wants to know that no matter what you encounter you will always trust in him even if it doesnt make much since that you have put your life in his hands and that you are willing to be malleable and that you will let him mold you he needs to know you trust him even if your friends tell you not to and even if it could result in your own death thats how he knows your loyal to him if we were brain dead we wouldnt have the power to do things for jesus and to live for jesus
