It's as though it's OUR fault the planet is full of corrupt, pocket lining, evil people...we certainly have enough of our own or this illegal thing would have been finished a long time ago.

You hate us, but you expect us to take care of you...

No thanks....

May I quote a very smart man

Over 10% of Mexico's population is hear in the US illegally. A people that industrious should be able to have an impact on their own country. This argument always fails on the questions "where do you draw the line" and "what price are you willing to pay". This notion that the US should accept anyone that needs a better life is unreasonable and not possible. The US needs an immigration policy that benefits the US.

If this country spent all the money it does on illegals to fight poverty for US citizens wouldn't it be great!

that says it all

Why don't you understand that the problem is not the illegal? It is only a symptom, the real problem is this govt and its refusal to secure the borders.....

And yes, we do, when it benefits us, make it our business to help/interfere with other countries. But only if it benefits us and corporate America.....

Why don't you see the real enemy is not an illegal, they are powerless and have no rights here, it is this govt....

Try scratching more than just the surface of this issue, no?

Well, sometimes the US government calls it "help", but it's done for political purposes and to exert influence on other countries affairs. This "help" is not free, and it does reap benefits for US companies who do business in those countries under favorable conditions. Aid has always been a form of coercion.

Why go to other countries?
Why mess with their foriegn policies?
Why veto other countries rights?
Why police the whole world?
Why be the 800 lb gorilla?
When making foreign policy why just protect your own intersts?
Why listen to the UN only when it best serves you and put sanctions on others when they dont?
Why no regards to human rights when it comes to other countries? (one example is Napalm)
the list is too long to even put here
BTW I am also american and love this country
but some things are not justified
