I live in Palm Bay, Florida and my family evacuated for hurricane frances. We were on our way to West Virginia to stay with my stepmother's sister. My family that I lived with(Dad, Stepmother, Stepmohter's mother) cramed into a Ford Ranger with our most important belongings and 3 birds and 2 dogs and set out on the road. We stayed in Jacksonville the first night on the road and continued on in the morning even though the hurricane had dropped to a category 2. We made a gas stop in Georgia and all got out and stretched our legs. My Dad and I walked the dogs while my stepmother and her mother went inside to use the restroom. We started talking to a man that was outside. He quickly found out that we were running from the storm and wished us luck. When my other family members returned, Dad and I went in to get drinks and a snack for the road. When we checked out the cashier gave my Dad $15. Dad was confused as said it wasn't his the cashier told him that some guy had left it for us. I was amazed that some stranger would leave money like that for us I think I even caught a tear in my Dad's eye. It seems like a small thing but when you are running from a massive hurricane and may not have anything to come home to it means a lot more than you could ever imagine

My boyfriend didn't tell me where we were going, blindfolded me and when we got to the destination, he was doing something while i was standing there. When he took the blindfold off of me there were chocolate kisses around me on the ground arranged in a heart. We were at the beach and he had set up a picnic on the grass. How sweet! We had been dating for about 6 months and now we have been together for 2 1/2 years and I love him more than ever.

Well, for every 100 crappy things that happens to a person, about 1 sweet thing happens to them. I have very little faith in humans now after 31 years on this planet. But I do remember one time when a girlfriend many many years ago told me that I was a funny guy. Now what type of funny I am not sure (funny looking?). But she boosted my self esteem at a time when I felt lower than low. We ended up breaking up because she cheated on me with about 6 guys. Awwwwww, how sweet!
