I just took my Nikon D70 through two airports, there and back, so that was 4 times it went through the scanner. It's fine, and so is the memory card. My pictures were the memory of a lifetime pictures, as in one-of-a-kind can't get them again, and they all came out fine!

I did feel weird walking barefoot through security, though, but that's another story....

No, digital cameras don't experience the same effects as regular film does. I've been through the airport a few times with my digital camera and didn't have any trouble with it.

NO... that was when most camers used FILM... xrays don't harm electronic circuits.
