I used to be rather overweight, but now I'm thinner. However, I was left with stretchmarks all over my inner thighs and on my hips. I also have some around my breasts. I'm a virgin, and I'm worried that I'll be rejected because of them. Will my future significant other be able to look past these, or will I be single forever?

Anyone that would hold such a minor or trivial "flaw" against you is a jerk, and does not deserve to enjoy the gift of a virgin. And, please, be aware that your status is the very thing guys dream about. Choose your first lover carefully, and make sure that he is mature and sensitive enough to gently and lovingly introduce you to the joys of intimacy. Sex can be beyond wonderful, or it can be horrific. It depends a great deal on your first experience. Make it a good one!

True love comes from something much deeper than superficial appearances, and in the greater scheme of things, your stretch marks will have no bearing whatsoever on your future. If you are a good person, you will find love.

Ok Hun, my word is not the final one without knowing ya this is a high-po-thetical question! For example I can say, "Oh don't worry you have a nice booty!" But I never met you & you may have ya own hang-ups! So I'd leave questions like this to folks who interact with ya daily! To me; a stretch mark just means ya was bigger once! At my age I'll forgive them and hope she does the same for my scars! BTW significant other is a weird pair of words at least to me! Good luck Sweety!

no, you will not be single forever

I have stretch marks from lifting weights in high school... And my husband still married me.

I really hope that someone will love you for who you are and will be mature enough to realize that we all have scars and marks on us. If someone does leave you because of stretch marks then it is a big sign that they do not LOVE YOU. Love sees through blemishes my dear...

Vitamin E oil works on reducing those. Some people don't mind and some do. Peace.

Don't fret my dear! I had the same problem, but if you find someone who can appreciate your beauty, then you will be fine. Don't ever think that everyone is that superficial.

Much luck!!
