I'm sure they care about each other, but I don't think you can really love somone like that when you are that young.

You can love someone when you are that young. But in most cases they are mistaking a crush for love, because they have never actually experienced love. So they don't know what it really feels like. To them, the crush is love.

my friends mom just got married to a man that she's loved since she was 10

The word love is thrown around so lightly now days. Look at our parents. Most of them have been married two and three times. Some even more than that. They don't fully understand the meaning of the word love. They think just because they really really like someone a lot that it's love. Or if they think someone is really pretty or handsome they think they are in love. They simply are just going by example.

Who cares. Love is a good thing to be spread. If they say it before they understand the meaning of it...what difference does it make? It's better than running around saying they hate each other. As long as they are not practicing the "act" of love at that age...who really cares?

I get so annoyed when i hear about that. It also annoys me when teenagers will be going out for a week and all of a sudden they love each other. I dont think that's real. I think everyone just feels that they need to say it when half the time they dont mean it.

I mean yes I'm sure they care about each other, but love is a powerful word and it shouldnt just be thrown out there. If we tell everyone we love them then it loses the effect.

idk thats just my opinion =)

I am 12 years old and I have a friend who really did love his girlfriend. You are never too young to love someone. We may not be experienced, but we feel what we feel.

its because they are naive and don't know what love really is. The first time I said 'I love you' to my first boyfriend, I thought that I did, till I was with my last boyfriend, and realized that nothing compared to the amount that I cared about him....its probably similar to that I guess
