What use is the Bible when the Bible's misquoted?

I hate people using LOL but that really did make me laugh out loud...
You must understand
That the touch of Yahweh's hand
Makes their pulse react
That it's only the thrill
Of Sodom in the grill
Suffering attracts
It's not natural
Only illogical
You must try to ignore
It's full of lies, there's no facts

It may seem to you
That they're acting confused
But they're too blind to see.
They tend to look dazed

The've got cause to be.
There's a name for it
They're all idiots.

It has a few good points and has kept some people in line where they otherwise might not have been kept in line.
But, I will admit that many of the good points are common sense and I don't know if they originated in the Bible (The Golden Rule, many of the Ten Commandments, etc.)
