do you think that it is a little over board to make miniature picture frames for the Parents of the Bride and Groom??

Thanks for all your imput, it has really helped me feel better about doing this for her!
(some people at work were telling me it was lame, but that's cause they are young and have never thought of getting married)

I think it's a very considerate and unique idea. Your thoughtfulness will go a long way and if she's a good person she will see that. Weddings should be unique as the marriage is.

I think that its a wonderful gesture if you are close with both sets of parents. Otherwise I would just give this very creative and thoughtful gift to the bride and groom. It is their day afterall. You sound like a great friend to have and the bride especially with be greatful for years and years.

Yes, I think that would be overboard because they might think you are sucking up or something. Unless you know the parents of the bride and groom. If not I would just do it for the bride! That is still a great idea.

I think it's a wonderful idea, and the parents should be touched, especially since you're going to try and get a photo of them from their wedding day as well!!! You're a very thoughtful friend to do this!!!

I think it's nice, someone did something similar for my wedding and I love it. My mom wishes she had a framed copy of my invite so there you go. No one ever thinks of framing the invites for the moms, you're a very thoughtful person.

I think this is a great idea, and you are extremely sweet to do that. I don't think that is lame at all -- some people just can't see the creativeness behind it.
