Because it doesn't matter how much they deny it Americans feel that if more immigrants come in from whatever country it is Americans feel they will lose their supremacy in this country especially White Americans if things continue like this America will no longer be the land of opportunity or of the free all America needs is a Fascist leader and I'm sure there would be another Holocaust since people are becoming so racist and ignorant also immigrants don't affect this country like racists want you to believe we help the economy and we help this country in many ways and all the bad things you hear about immigrants are lies I have been in the U.S. since I was 7 I'm currently 13 and every single one of those years my dad has paid his taxes and we aren't lazy or uneducated my dad works extremely hard and I love this country and I don't understand what's wrong with an immigrant having the flag of his home country or still loving his home country I don't see anybody complain when somebody flies the Confederate flag or a Neo Nazi flies the Nazi flag and to me these flags have worse meanings than a flag from Mexico or England or Spain or whatever country it might be so people stop complaining immigrants do nothing wrong and they aren't criminals I don't see whats wrong with trying to feed your starving family oh and VIVA MEXICO THE USA AND THE WHOLE WORLD!!!!! AND THANK YOU FOR READING MY MESSAGE AND HAVE NICE DAY!!!!!

I agree there are a lot of racist people on here, but there are also a lot of people on here who think that to defend the "rights" of illegal immigrants absolves them of any sort of racism. However, those same people have never considered the hundreds of thousands of people around the world who would like to immigrate LEGALLY to the US. Are those people less worthy than the ones who have broken the law to get to the US? I think they are MORE worthy. I know some of those people and they have to wait for years because there is no place for them in the US because all the places have been taken by ILLEGAL immigrants.
A country loosens its immigration policies and allows in more immigrants when there are jobs to be filled. This is going on in Canada right now. People who have been waiting for years as well as people who have recently applied for immigration have been granted it because Canada has a lot of jobs for skilled AND unskilled workers. The US has NO jobs for unskilled workers because they have all already been taken by ILLEGAL immigrants. Now, if those illegal immigrants would go home, not only would that open the gates to LEGAL immigrants from the poorest countries in the world, it would also require the exploitive employers to pay LEGAL wages.
I don't see how anyone can be "pro-illegal"! That's absurd. Illegal is illegal. Why can't you be "pro-legal" immigration. What do you have against legal immigrants? You can't be both because illegal immigrants make it nearly impossible for legal immigration. In addition, they make it VERY difficult from countries with large numbers of illegal immigrants to even get tourist visas to the US. Do you know how humiliating it is to be from Africa, or China, or Greece, or Turkey, etc., and have to jump through hoops just to get a tourist visa to the US. Just ask a few Africans or Chinese or Greeks or Turks, etc. who have been through the process.

That is what I want to know! What in the Hell have the illegals done to these people that was so bad? I can understand them not wanting the people here that are causing problems in their gangs, and the drug dealers and rapists, etc., but not all of those are illegals! Alot of them are american citizens! And I don't mean just Mexicans ! I mean-Whites, Blacks, all of them! But the problem is that they have a problem with ALL illegals, even if they are good honest people!

La gurl, you are completely ignorant. What color is illegal anyway? What color are US citizens? Many colors and races, and more than just white people are against illegal immigration. Even many legal hispanics want it stopped. I guess you just call them sellouts since racist can't apply to them, right? We are tired of foreigners expecting instant US citizenship just because they were smart or lucky enough to make it here. If I rob a bank and get away with the money should I legally be entitled to keep it, since I was smart enough to pull it off? I risked my life in order to have a better financial future, you know! I think you are the racist because you expect white people to just roll over and play dead. We have to pretend to be stupid just because you think we are. I love your logic.

i am white but i am not racist. my boyfriend is black, i have friends that are mexican. i just think if you come here you you need to speak fluent english, the main language in the us. also there are so many illegals where i live white people cant get jobs because they work for less than we do. it is sad to see people you love who are qualified for jobs dont get a job because the company is scared that someone will throw up a racist flag. dont think all whites are racist. we are pissed because it is not fair to come across the border and never legalize themselves. think about it you dont want a bunch of white people to take over your country right?

Part of it is racism. I don't believe the debate would be quite so hot if we were talking about illegal female immigrants from Denmark. However, please don't overlook the first word in the term "illegal immigrant". There is a process for obtaining permission to live and work in the USA. Many immigrants have painfully followed the process. To turn a blind eye to this problem not only does disservice to those who have followed our immigration laws, it also makes a mockery of the immigration process.

it's because so many people think this land is theirs and they think that all their money is going to illegals. The truth is that illegals get little to no benefits when they get here. They come with 0 dollars and they look for jobs to get money. When I ask an illegal alien " why did you come to the US?" they always respond "to get a job and earn money". They never rely on welfare or free this or that. Sure some get that but so do african americans and asians living in poverty or ghettos..

They do not pay taxes and they in general are living by subsided government programs. They receive hospital care that citizens end up having to pay for through higher insurance cost. Their children end up receiving a free education that again citizen pay for through taxes. They are responsible for my higher taxes and I do not appreciate it - would you want to constantly pay for someone else to illegal receive the benefits you are legally entitled too?
No I am not bitter or anything....just tired of footin' the bill for them to live here. There is no effort made by the illegal aliens to learn the language and now manufacturers are printing product packages in English and Spanish.
I would never expect a country to cater to me (and I lived in South Korea for two years). When you live in another country, every effort should be made to respect the culture of that country - if your don't like it - Get the heck out!

Its affecting the working class Americans who cannot get a living wage thanks to illegal aliens. The only people who are pro illegals are the rich and there brainwashed servants who were fooled into believing its about human rights when its really about the rich using slave labor

Go figure.....This country was built on legal and illegal immigrants...They seem to forget history and the present...
Let me ask you this, if Jesus were here today, would he be a pro illegal? The biographies of Jesus depict him repeatedly reaching out to those at the bottom of the social pyramid--poor people, women, Samaritans, lepers, children, prostitutes and tax collectors....What would Jesus do?
