I think I can answer your question. I am assuming that you have a tooth which is impacted in the palate and they to expose and bring it down with braces. The surgery itself will not hurt , because you are anesthetized. Once they expose the tooth, the Orthodontist slowly drag that tooth into your arch. The forces we use are gentle and will not cause any discomfort. While putting braces, you have to keep your mouth open, so your jaw may get sore. However, you will have some tenderness after the wires are placed. But the pain is rather exaggerated. Young individuals deal with pain better than older patients.

they hurt a little bit when they put them on it doesn't hurt --when they put on the little squares it doesn't really hurt except u do hafta keep Ur mouth open with Ur tung not touching anything in but mouth for like and hour but when they put on the metal bands on the back molars it hurts a lot (because they have to kinda bang them on and then rip them off if the don't fit right...it also hurts when they put in the wire cuz they squeeze Ur teeth but for me my teeth were only sore the day after i got braces but since then they haven't aked...when u go to the orthodontist to get Ur braces tightened it kind hurts for a few minutes but its not to bad ....i haven't gotten the wires tightened for 4 months and today i have an orthodontist appointment so it might hurt me since my teeth haven't been tightenedd d for a while so they might tightene the a lot....it also hurts just to have braces because (for me at least) they rub up against the sides of Ur mouth and cuts u but i do have chubby cheeks (lol) and i might the side of my mouth a lot
when a tooth is growing in with them on although i think when some teeth grow in they hurt anyways so its not the braces think

I'd say if you have a tooth that is not growing properly the dentist needs to just pull it, as for putting the braces on that I remember it does not hurt, they just glue a bracket to your tooth, now when the teeth begin to move there is some discomfort but if ya take Tylenol then it usually is better. If you have any concerns your dentist can always answer any question you have.

no it does not hurt if a tooth is coming in seeing as I have two coming in right now. I get a thing put on one of them in a month becasue it has just now came in enough for them to put it on.
Yes, braces do hurt when they put them on some but it will hurt for up to a week or more to chew food with them on adn then you will get used to it. It is worth it in the long run.

They will hurt when you first get them on but after about a week it will stop and you will get use to it. Just make sure that you take motrin or some kind of pain reliever. Oh and i had to have the dentist vut my gum open to to get a tooth out. It did not hurt that much. Just do not worry about it and every thing will be okay!!!

Yes when you initially get them put on, they hurt but your body quickly gets used to it and within a few days you're fine again. Then every month when they tighten the band it hurts for a bit but less and less each time they do it. It's really not a big deal.

yes, they're going to hurt a little going on.
yes, it can hurt to connect the new tooth to the braces...but...
there are lots of medications that can help you. the pain is NOT going to be unbearable just annoying.

I dont understand a word of your first question but as for your second question.....braces dont hurt going on. However going in peroidically to have the tightend hurts like crazy. It goes away though. Like smacking your thumb with a hammer :)

I had braces for 5 years. They will be a little painful the first couple days, you'll have to eat food you don't really have to chew. But like everything else you will get used to them. Its the price we have to pay to have nice teeth. Its worth it
