Cut off it's legs and tail and try again. Or, tie a brick to it's back.

This is one of those Questions like "Why is the Sky Blue? Or Why is my Blood Red but in the Veins its Blue?" There must be a greater power that Cares for all the little kitties to help them live from jumping off roofs to falling out windows or trees or bad boys like you throwing your kitty around...
Please be careful not to hurt little kittty... If you make it mad it might show you who's boss....

Cats have natural instincts, one is landing on its feet when it falls or is thrown.
By the way, don't throw your cat. Someone bigger and badder might want to throw you someday and you don't have cat instincts. just stupidity.

When in a fall, a cat uses its tail to twist its back, falling on its paws. Take care of your cat.

Do you notice how cats twist their body so they land on their feet?
My dog does that too.

Well why would you want to. If you told someone you could land on your feet if pushed off a roof would you want someone else to do it to you?
