I dont expect to save alot of money. but I expect to save some. If you are teaching english, you should be able to make a living at it.. I like going to philippines on occasion and the cost of living in philippines in much lower. Now with this information, is the a good possibilty, I might be making 4000-6000rmb.

You will be able to save money BIG TIME!!! A lot of stuff is very cheap you just need to practice your bargaining skills. Helpful tip: Always offer to pay much lower than you want to pay and then when the price is raised you can get it to what you would Actually pay without too much hassle.

It would depend on where your money was coming from. Cost of living is usually scaled to what people make in that area. If you have a check coming in from the US every month you'd probably save some money, but if you're planning on working there I doubt your savings would be any different from where you are now.

you can't really SAVE money. you will still be paid in yuan while you live there. you'll be chinese then and be just as poor as you are now.
