but i have heard there is a lot of adware connected to limwire
anyone think the same

Hi again Tommy,

As was suggested before, its not limewire that has the spyware, its the stuff you download with it. The simplest thing to do is download ewido (link below) You download the pro version and after the trial period you get a choice to buy it or revert to the standard version(free) which is sufficient for your needs.

After you have installed ewido, you can pick any file you like, right click on it and choose scan with ewido on the drop down list, this will check for any spyware which might be lurking inside and you can take action as required.

With ANY files you download you should get into a habit of doing this, your spyware problem will reduce dramatically.

No, there is no adware or spyware with Limwire. I'm a very satisfied user.

Never...limewire does not contain harmful adwares or those pesky spywares...some of my friends uses it...and there is nothing like those...so you can download that software if you want to...

Limewire itself does not come bundled with adwares nor spywares.... It's the stuff that you download with it that contains such programs..

no. only if you download certain "questionable" downloads will you get adware, spyware etc. never had a problem with that stuff though.

Yep, I've never used it personally but I've heard its awful. Apparently full of all kinds of nasties. Basically I would advise anyone against using it

that's true everybody uses limewire because it's realy easy, i do think the same, there are a lot of spyware and it's toattaly illegal using limewire
