No. It is fulfilling its mission if the mission is to prop up kleptocracies, kill and maim millions of people, refuse to issue known health remedies, and take Americans tax dollars without giving them anything in return but unpaid parking tickets.

Kyle: They have the resources, they simply choose to issue them poorly. Rather than spend money on DDT to fight malaria in Africa, they waste money and lives working to make vaccines and medicines. Rather than give money directly to the poor and starving in Africa, they give it to the leaders of those nations who made their people poor and starving in the first place while living lives of luxury. Rather than focus on the actual causes and perpetrators of violence, they choose to focus their funding and energies on taking away the legal guns of law-abiding citizens in countries that they do not even control. Shall I go on?

No. All the United Nations is doing is providing a haven for foreign spies with diplomatic immunity and it is wasting a good real estate location in downtown New York City. A Burger King on that site would be more beneficial and more productive.

The United Nations is one big committee. Remember the adage about committees: " A committee takes ten times longer to do what one person alone can do, and often not as well."

They were in Lebanon, unarmed and used as shields by Hezbollah. They are in Africa and are one the hot seat for action there (rape). They are anti-semetic.

Wonder why the question was presented.. all one needs to do is listen to the news of their activity or lack of it.
