do something relaxing right before you go to sleep, like read a magazine or a newspaper or a book (not a suspenseful one) but a book that's good and you can put down when you're ready to go to sleep. something good, but kind of boring. You can also drink a glass of milk.
If this does not work, exercise during the day and stay active to wear yourself out. Don't exercise right before bed, however, as this will wake you up and you won't be able to sleep.
If all else fails, an over-the-counter sleep aid might be a short-term solution. They are just anithistimines, and are non-habit forming, but should not be used for more than about 2 weeks.

chortle a colodopin, syraquil, xanex. they're all sleep aids. won't be in a position of get carry of any prescription drugs? don't have a buddy to sell them to you, won't be in a position of stay with your self stealing stuff so as which you would be able to decelerate your sleep debt? bypass purchase some benadryl or melatonin. Melatonin is a nonaddictive sleep help that I used to absorb the previous i chanced on all those different pills. you would be actual drained after approximately 20 minutes from taking it and you will no longer additionally be drowsy in the morning. this is a nap help, yet in case you finally end up taking it for each week or 2, your physique is going right into a organic drowsing time table and you will finally end up going to sleep with out situation with out even having to pop any pills. in case you nevertheless deny the little pill, no count how organic this is on your physique (melatonin is the chemical your strategies produces of course to bring about sleep), in basic terms attempt chilling out to a pair worry-free song and laying down in a depressing room. sometimes I in basic terms come to a determination to no longer open my eyes or pass plenty till morning and that i locate that sleep comes actual. in case you nevertheless want that experience of protection, attempt drowsing with a canines, cat, or perchance a snake! happy objectives (:

Well, I have had trouble sleeping too and I have been told many things like...
Drink warm milk, exercise 30 min before bed, count sheep (?), but one thing really did help me.
Say the word sleep over and over again in your head, not out loud. I know, it sounded strange to me too, but it got me to focus on sleep and I would fall asleep.
Night, night!

Have sex before going to sleep - I mean heart-pounding, hard-core Sex! You'll be exhausted afterwards and fall asleep in no time (it works for me!).
If that's not an option, just masterbate!

Try saying to yourself in your mind, 'my arms are heavy and warm', 'my legs are heavy and warm'. 'my head is heavy and warm'
If that doesn't work, see your doctor, you may be 'restless' and need a sleep aid prescription like Ambien CR or Trazadone

Keep a notebook by your bed side and if you can't sleep then "empty" your mind by writting down your thoughts.
