You would need to pause your game, and leave it on there for about 3 or 4 hours before there would be a chance for burn in.
If you are planning on pausing it for that long, turn off the screen, and you'll be fine.
Burn in occurs when the screen doesn't refresh, like a score in the corner, that never changes.
Burn in is not that big of an issue for games. Lots of urban legends out there!

Yes you can.
If you are a hardcore gamer that plays for hours on end, you are going to want to make sure that you take breaks to pause the game, and turn the screen off. Burn ins DO occur from playing video games but it'll only be like the power level bar, or an icon that never changes, these days alot of games have different menus and things that you can go into so the chances of a burn-in go down.

This really depends on how old your plasma TV is... Older models from say 2003 and before had problems with burn in. Recent plasmas suffer very rarely from burn-in...Having had experience, I know that one can play for hours on end everyday..and MAYBE after 3yrs or so one would notice something faint.
So in other words, if your plasma is 2004 - present, i wouldnt worry too much about it. If your really concerned about it, drop into a local AV store, prefferably mom and pop owned. (Best buy associates know nothing, radioshack doesnt train their people in plasma or LCD tv technology, and circut city no longer pays by comission so their Associates know nothing as well and i wont even mention walmart.)

sure you can but do not leave the ps without doing anything for a long time coz it'll cause burn-in on your plasma tv.

properly you may word than an 80GB PS3 can't play PS2 video games(apart from an emulator on the version with the chrome trim: which has emulation utility on it, allowing to play the final public of them, yet that quantity is imagined to be ~70% or much less), basically the no longer in production unique 20GB and the no longer in production 60GB can play *all*(minimum of ninety% of all produced PS2 video games) PS2 video games(as they have the emotion engine, hardware outfitted in to the device to allow for play). desire that facilitates!

Just make sure the brightness levels and contrasts arent sky high that will increase the chances of burn in.
