In high school I used to work at Arbys and I would see some pretty huge people come through the drive through. Some would take up the entire front area of the car/truck. They were using the drive through because we didn't have enough grease to squeeze them through the door. I Just wanted to tell them "whoa buddy, you've had enough Beef N Cheddars to put an end to the hunger in Ethipoia". The health department should require those folks to be cut off!!!

Bartenders cut people off because they have a little more say in how they distribute their crap. In America the essential front is that you have the freedom to choose what sort of lifestyle you commit yourself to as long as it doesn't impede the social well-being of others....

That being said alcoholics in a tavern have the potential to present a hazard to others but it isn't set in stone. Bartenders however buy their product individually and collect from their sales after the fact. It is therefore at their discretion how they distribute.

Fast food joints are similar but not identical and their only concern is making money. So an employee of a fast food chain can essentially "sell or go to Hell" and USDA or the health department can't do anything because they aren't realistically a hazard to the general public by choosing to be fat...

Being fat isn't a nuisance to anyone, but being drunk can be dangerous to other people.

It's like the old saying goes: You can swing your arm around as much as you want, as long as you don't hit anyone with it.

when you are drunk , you're considered dangerous to other people so the bar tender has a right to cut you off so you won't harm others or yourslef . and fast restaurants don't cut off people because people can be fat if they want to .

Because drunks are a danger to others - fat people are only a danger to themselves.

GOOD QUESTION, its the exact same concept. it only makes foreigners respect this country less.

drunk people: chance at committing homicide (driving)
overweight people: committing suicide, either way its killing.
