When I was about 16 I told my mother that I hated her. Being a mother now, I can only imagine how badly that must have hurt her.

I never said anything, but whoa, she had never been there for me,so maybe I should have.Too late now,she just turns a deaf ear and continues to add her two cents worth about my kids or something.I am not talking to her right now because of her insensitivity towards my daughters weight problem(she, daughter is on meds)and her excuse not to come to my wonderful son's wedding(the first excuse was the date was also her boss's son's wedding date, well,my son changed dates, and she ultimately was fired from her job,and she never did come to the wedding.Honestly,I never said anything or did one thing to have been this unfortunate.

I called her a B**** when I was 16, but she deserved it.

I haven't spoken to her in over 2 years (I am now well beyond my teens) and I don't plan on ever talking to her again.

And I don't regret it or have any remorse. I have never felt such peace as since I cut her out of my life.

Your going to think this isnt mean but to us it was...I was 16 and leaving the house for the evening, my mother had been a very bad mood all day ( for what I had no clue ), as I was leaving she came to the door and proceed to talk down to me about what I was wearing what time to be home yadda yadda.....she never did that! But I turned around to her and told her " Please tell my mother when she comes home that I love her"...she cried and apoligized...

i told her she was CRAZY. i screamed it so angrily and she was like, "how dare u say that to me?" i feel bad, but she is so controlling at times and doesn't make sense... =T it's hard but i think parents need to teach their kids to be independently successful on their own, and have to push them out into the world instead of keeping them too close to the nest. it's probably reallly hard, but that's healthier for the kid in the long run, and for the parents when the kids finally move out and take a stand for their own lives.

The worst thing I ever done to my mother was when I kicked her, swear at her, and yah of course ran away from her. I did that because she was abusing me. I told my dad and he's trying his hardest to get my mom away from me as posible and he told me that he can't stand her because how she treats my lil bro. my dad and I.
