I have read a story by Kenneth ( I forget the last name axactly its one of these- Hagan oe Copeland) and he said he actually died 3 times and went to hell those times. He felt himself leave his body and was being sucked down into the Earth where he saw darkness for a time until it began to get really hot. He saw the gates of Hell and his eyes were stuck on it and could not look away. He was being ushered by "something" into it but he heard a loud booming voice that was a foriegn language he did not understand. He went back into his body and this happened several times until the last one he went above his house and God spoke to him. This is one experience and it is quite a tale.

God creates the soul and we do infact have one every one. It has been proven that when someone dies they become lighter in weight. Ever heard of a Movie 21 Grams? That is reffereing to that I believe. The Lord gives life and that is true. Science is God and look at how complez everything is.

Fact: A single human cell measuring 1/1,000 of an inch across contains instructions within its DNA that would fill 1,000 books of 600 pages each (Eckhart Tolle, The Power of Now)

God gives you a portion of his spirit and when you die that goes back to him according to Psalms 146:4. But, you are not the spirit and it does not have your personality. The Bible says that we become a living soul when the breath of life (God's spirit) enters into our physical body (Genesis 2:7) and that when the soul dies, we die because we are the soul. (Just as a doctor doesn't live on once the person who is a doctor dies). Our hope then, is the resurrection. If we are alive in God's memory (the memorial tombs), then, we will be re-created during the 2nd resurrection as we were when we were alive. At this time, Satan will be gone from the earth and everything will be done according to God's will just as Jesus prayed for that to happen.

Obviously different people have different beliefs on the nature of the after life. Personally, I believe that whatever does happen, your identity is probably not preserved, so if you do have some metaphysical "soul" it doesn't preserve one's memories and personality and is largely irrelevant.

Some people have likened the soul to the synapse. When a person dies, the synapse ceases to exist, so in that case the soul would simply be transformed into some other state of existence, since electricity is material energy, it therefore follows the laws of conservation of energy and mass. Makes you think that Shamanism (the belief that everything has a soul, sentient or non) might be a bit more valid, ne?

Ziggy b you are playing atheistic again I just read your answer to Will, by the way he ask surrounding his own questions with confusions, he is a God wannabe, and you are trying to help. and you want to know about Souls, and were they come from?????
Souls are from Elements emanations of energies from elements, and most all of then been emanate to protect and help the forces of Evil not to allow the substances and the substances of matter to be use by God to develop the material World. basically you aren't what i will call a Soul, but you are an energy a living energy that perhaps also emanate from some of the elements, became a living energy, This all depend of the time you were to become an energy, The soul is a companion to the Living energy to make sure that no one living energy will take anything out way from matter's or from the substances, went the time comes for the living energies to abandon this imperfect material world, The Soul if you care for it, for your own soul, which is very egoentric, by taking the right decitions and acomplish the right purpouses in life, it will help but that it has to be done intelligently, because the Soul, it has almost the same nature than any and evrything been emanate from the matter's, and the substances. in essenes everything is base, man, womans, souls Spirits etc, in energies thou man's are the only ones allows and requested to be intensibly masculine, not femenism involved, as Souls and spirits have. this to allow Woman's to be femenines, and you know why, simply because God, nor Jesus his Son are from this World but they came from heven to use matter's, substances and elements, to experience the material existance.and achieved in the essences the knowlege belong within the substances and the cell that live within the substances of matter, as well to know about and experince the cell's and the molecular structure of the cell's at the atomic level, and learn this in the essences of our own energies, and practice it in the flesh. and run out way from this material world with such knolwedge. as to your soul they will be going back into the dark, sluggish and musty live they have always had within the matter's. .

I believe all souls have existed for eternity and are all a part of god. When we die, no matter what our religion, we go to the "Other side". I'm hesistant to call it heaven but basically, that's what it is. I was a Christian for 18 years but after many many years of research, I don't believe in most of Christianity. This is my belief, you don' t have to agree but this is what I believe.

I believe if you commit suicide, you are instantly reincarnated to try again.. you gave up on life too easily so you must do it again. If you're a not so good/evil person, you also get reincarnated. If you're a decent person, you go to 'heaven" for a while and, if you choose, you can be reincarnated again to learn more lessons. Or if you've learned all you're going to learn, you stay there on the other side, in peace.

Hebrews 9:27 says:

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: "

God gives us a soul and when we die, God will determine where that soul ends up at and what we deserve on the Day of Judgment.

Christians who believe and love God and obey His Word never worry about dying.

Look at this website www.near-death.com. They have done abundant research on many near death experiences. It is quit interesting. From the results of this research and from my own personal beliefs, I believe that we create our own heaven or hell depending on our thoughts and personal beliefs.

In addition, it is my beleif that people may want to re-check their beleif systems. If you beleive that the soul sleeps until judgment day, you may create this as your heaven. There are places in the bible that contradict this beleif, see examples below.

Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you. For John came to you to show you the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did."" (Matt. 21:32)

In this passage Jesus described two different groups of people entering heaven at different times. This statement is a clear refutation of the resurrection of souls at the end of time. Resurrection assumes that everyone will enter heaven at the same time. Reincarnation assumes that everyone enters heaven at the moment of death. For this reason, the only way for these tax collectors and prostitutes can enter heaven before the Pharisees is through the process of reincarnation.

Women received back their dead, raised to life again. Others were tortured and refused to be released, so that they might gain a better resurrection." (Heb. 11:32-35)

The above passage describes women receiving their dead through reincarnation which is the only method this can happen. Bodily resurrection can only happen through a miracle or at the end of time on Judgment Day according to the Persian concept of resurrection. But because this passage refers to an event in the past, then this cannot be a reference to a future "Judgment Day" when corpses crawl out of graves. The passage also mentions people refusing to die so they can live longer to do good works and obtain more favorable conditions in the next life.

He who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it." (Rev. 3:12)

This is a clear statement affirming the pre-existence of the soul and its corresponding concept - reincarnation. The assumption here is that people who do not overcome the world will have to leave this heavenly temple and return to earth.

Sleep is the little sister of death. Death is like falling asleep, except you never wake up. Where you go depends on your state of mind and the type of person you were. Suicides never find peace and tend to haunt, same for murder victems. A soul is energy and comes from a main energy source we call God.
