I can't help it, but whenever I see someone wearing a cross, I think, aren't we lucky that crucifixion was the mode of execution in the Roman Empire, otherwise girls would have to have jewelry made in the shape of a hangman's noose, or a guillotine, or nowadays a syringe. (and I didn't invent this question, by the way, it is stolen from an old Lenny Bruce joke.)

Good point that nobody has to wear a cross, even Catholics have a choice about that. Of course that's true. My question should have been, would people who choose to wear a cross really want to wear an electric chair?

Jesus is a mythological character. The truth is that yes Christians would wear little electric chairs, and/or syringes. Maybe we could start a new religion. Anyway, the fish is a symbol of Jesus as well... and I prompt you to tell me what/how the story of Jesus has to do with a fish.

Actually, the cross was used by the Roman govt to punish people for political crimes.

Here is america, we dont use the electric chair or needles to punish those guilty of political crimes. Instead, they are appointed to positions of power inside our govt (such as Dubya), or they are killed with a bullet to the brain (just look at the guys involved in Enron scandal - the English bankers found killed. Or other politicos that have been found dead with gunshot wounds to the head.)

I've asked this question before you purse snatcher rollo tomassi. You killed my father!

The answer is yes. They would even wear nooses if he had been hung. I don't know what they would wear if he were castrated though.

Lenny Bruce was just ripping me off by the way.

Only catholics would. The protestants would object to "object worship" and break into 1,000 splinter groups.

Would death metal groups and Satanist wear upside down electric chairs to mock the Xians?

In the 20th century there were many methods of execution in use, including shooting; poisoning; gassing; hanging; stoning; beheading; and, in just a few places, electric chairs.
