What if you could kill millions, rape, molest children, etc, and all you had to do was say your sorry, and you would be forgiven, and escape punishment? Would the government be better if we had these values as law? Would it be safer? What if no one could punish anyone, because they were not without sin?

We aren't forgiven simply because we say we're sorry, unless we have accepted Christ as our Savior. Christ said "go and sin no more". We can't just say we're sorry, then go out and do it again.
We Christians are accountable, and we will see that accountability when God judges us.
Would never work -- the government is not God. Even though God forgives us, even for murder, we still have to face the consequences for that crime here on earth.

the major situation with what you've stated is that you've determined on your own ideas that your way is larger than God's. it really is variety of humorous. in case you've faith in God, then possibilities are intense you've faith his is infinitely useful and smart and knowledgeable, understanding all issues. and also you, His creation, believes you're wiser than he's? it is a notably sturdy comic tale. Proverbs 14:12 says "there's a fashion that seems properly to a guy, yet its end is the way of lack of existence." God knows better. continually. How ought to He no longer, at the same time as He knows each and every thing? and considering that He created us, He has finished rights to inform us besides the reality that He needs us to do, and we, being His creation, have a responsibility to obey. What does God say in His be conscious? Mark 16:15-16 - "bypass into each and each and every of the international and carry forth the gospel to each and each and every creature. He who BELIEVES and is baptized will be kept; yet he who does no longer trust will be condemned." Romans 10:9 - "...in case you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and count on your heart that God has raised Him from the lifeless, you'd be kept." Ephesians 2:8 - "For with suggestions from grace, you've been kept by faith..." How ought to you probable imagine God ought to reward us for denying His existence, or for no longer believing in the incredible issues He has made accessible to us? That makes no experience.

That is how our justice system works--at least for the wealthy and powerful. Take Paul Bremer. He lost $9 billion dollars. Did he go to prison for his negligence? No.

Would you go to prison if you lost $90,000 of your employer's money? Even if you weren't, you'd likely be dismissed in disgrace. Bush gave Bremer a medal!

At any rate, it isn't really clear to me that Christianity, outside of a few fundamentalist heresies, really works as you describe.

It's up to society to create a justice system and we should count our blessings that it's SECULAR in nature because we'd be in deep bleep if we had Religious law ruling us. Just look at how bad people are treated in states ruled by Islamic (Religious) Law. PEACE!

Well our government officials/M.N Corporations must think the Justice System works like Christianity.
Well they do not feel the need to apologize.....
I think they would like it this way, cruel "evil" people rarely love justice, unless they are dealing it.

That's not how Christianity works. Saying you're sorry is not enough. For one thing, God knows your heart and whether you're truly sorry, while a judge would not; and for another thing, someone had to pay the price for our sin, and that's why God sent Jesus to pay for our sin. We have to NOT ONLY truly repent, BUT ALSO trust in Christ to cover us with his righteousness. If you had a speeding ticket, and someone else paid your fine, you wouldn't have to pay it. Same principle, larger, weirder scale.

Well, since we are to protect each other (treat other as you would be treated). I don't see how we could let that happen.
