Why do Christians worship a human???

how can someone be worshipped who is no differenec than you in creation??

muslims dont worship Muhammad, Muslims follow Jesus as well...but they dont worship a God in a human form, if he is God like Chrisitans Claim, then why was he over powered by humans...???

Jesus was in need of food, water, air, he even went to use the bathroom....but does a really powerful God, give himself the charateristic of humans, which he created them, how can a God become his creation?? if he does, then why does he deserve to be worshipped?

We worship God the Father and His Son, Jesus. Jesus was born of Mary, but not of Joseph. God is His Father; Jesus was a sinless human being while on earth. He is not dead; He is with His Father in heaven.

Christianity has the belief that Jesus, while a man, is also a god. It's one of the largest theological debates of the religion, as to whether he's one, the other, or both. Clearly, the religion believes that Jesus is somehow "above" humanity, but that Jesus himself is limited, though I'm not entirely sure why Jesus being limited in comparison to god is really necessary. Jesus is usually seen as sort of a seperate consciousness of god, an extension of god's will that is only a part of his infinity, but that is still infinite.

In short, Jesus may not be god himself (or he may be, depending on what the theologians decide), but he's still way better than anything humanity's ever supposed to achieve.

Who says God is a human being? Ok, yes he did create man in his own image. Would you rather have a dog, cow or a pig to worship for a god? There are people out there who put their faith in to the sun and worship rocks and bow before sheep in worship. The only problem is that their objects of their worship and religion never produce anything. We worship God and he is human, he sacrificed his son so that he could try to save the human race, he has parted the Red Sea, he flooded the earth in 40 days, he saved his people from the egyptian plagues, he has done much to save and help his people. I can't see that any other object of another religion showing their followers the same. The other fact is that if God is to sympathize with us and know what we are going through and he's going to rescue us from our troubles, wouldn't he have to have some type of human qualitites to him to be able to help us and to feel what we feel? Do you think that God could fix your broken heart and know what you are feeling as a human if he is a cow in heaven?

I see that you are in alot of peoples questions and always have something negative to say... I see that you have a lack of faith and are blind..you are probably one who says there is no God because you cannot see him....Do you see the wind???...dont be a fool and be mislead by what you hear or see...do research your self and seek for you self....Albert Einstein who used 10% more of his brain then the average person stated that the universe had a beginning point that it still is growing...by design it was created by a suprem being.....your heart pumps over 35,000 gallons of blood every day..it also pumps threw 75,000 miles of veins...your blood cells reproduce for every blood cell that dies...and has its own defense system...the air you breath has just the right amount of oxygen, nitrogen, carbon monoxide...if the % mixture was off...then who ever would lite a match the world would go up in flames...the earth is tilted and rotation and speed and distance from the sun is just right to give us a 24 hour day.....4 seasons...and tempature...and carbon dating is not accurate only for 3,000 years...the carbon mixture was different in the air 3,000 and plus years ago...all other dates are guestamations...besides what is documented.....I'll pray you open your eyes...come on man millions and millions of accidents...created all of this...I'll pray brother

Christian means someone who is a follower of Christ. Jesus is not a human. He did come in human form once upon this earth. But right now, He sits at the right hand of God the Father.

They created a god modled after themselves to give themselves comfort. They don't want to worship an animal or anything else because they believe they are the supreme race and a god would have to be the same. It's all about human ego. Why do you think they believe it was a man?

We don't. We worship the Christ, who is both Human and God. he is not the same as us. He was a part of the holy trinity. You may view Jesus as simply human, but christians do not.

Because each religion has its own beliefs. They're not wrong, just different.

Each of us are correct within our own beliefs, but must respect the beliefs of those who differ from our own.

In the end, it's all about tolerance and respect both for the individual and their beliefs.

And to the "dim one" above, Allah is simply the Arabic word for God. Allah, God, Yahweh -- whatever "name" you ascribe to Him, He is one in the same. If you would educate yourself in the Bible and the Q'uran you would know this to be true.

Among Muslims, Jews, and Christians our similarities far outweigh our differences and any good person of faith -- any faith -- knows, understands, accepts, and respects this.

People who put-down the religious beliefs of another are small-minded and are not practicing the true tenets of their claimed beliefs. By your actions and comments, you prove yourself to be faithless.
