I have a few "girl-friends" that I like to keep around as company. Nothing more. The thought of sleeping with some of them has crossed my mind. But ultimately I've prefer to keep the relationship platonic. There have been instances where they have made attempts to taking it further but I havent. Is this wrong?

As long as everyone is a consensual adult, there is nothing wrong and everything right with sharing pleasure with your companions.

Chances are, having sex is going to screw up a "platonic friendship". Also, you may have to come to terms with the fact that men and women can't really be friends in the long term, because the issue of sex will always get in the way. People are going to be people, sexual urges and all. If you're not sexually attracted to these girls, you shouldn't sleep with them, but I kind of question your credentials as a guy to turn down a woman throwing herself at you.

No, and waiting until marriage may be uncool, square, and hard, but worth it. Believe me, I wish I had. If you don't choose to follow that advise, if you value your friendships, then keep it platonic. Sex will eventually ruin it. You do however, need to marry someone who is your best friend first, lust doesn't last forever, it comes and goes throughout the duration of a marriage, and doesn't stay committed.

No it's not wrong! it's really quite a rational decision on your part. Keep them as friends until you are the age to where you know what you want out of life. When you discover who you are, then you will know who is right for you. Then no one will get hurt, and you will be able to maintain your friendships.

Nothing wrong with that at all. If you don't want to complicate your friendship by sleeping with them then the best thing to do is avoid it. Don't mess up something that's going good. And, in response to another comment I saw about your question, there is nothing at all gay about it.

don't s*it where you sleep, all my friends are guys(I'm female) it's just never crossed my mind to go past the fantasy of sleeping with some of them, mostly because they're my bros i like them to much to (possibly) loose them as friends. But if they're "just company" screw them all - wear protection and make sure they know they're just toys

no its not wrong if you want to keep them as friends. To many time friends become bed buddies and things dont work out in that area and you end up losing a friend out of it

If your unsure then you should not do anything hastily. You will end up regretting your choice if it is not thuroughly processed and decided upon.
