Did anyone watch the Lifetime movie 'Not like everyone else'?What is so wrong with wicca?ppl are just stupid.

well i never watched that movie. i have been wiccan for about 8.5 years. its an earth based religion and we belive in gods/goddesses.

People are ignorant. That is it plain and simple. There is nothing wrong with following a Wiccan path, however, society has not changed and does not open up to other beliefs. Wicca is a beautiful religion, and should openly be accepted. If the US Armed Forces recognizes it, what's the problem?
People fear what they do not know and are too scared to find out more.

Wicca is what is wrong with Wicca, Wicca was invented by Gerald Gardner a pervert, he loved skyclad, and he wanted a group off women to see naked. Paginism all the way, Wicca is for teenagers who want to piss off there parents. I've studied the occult for 17 years, and this is my conclusion

Its just another example of the lack of acceptance in today's society. Personally i'm not wiccan but that doesnt mean i see them in a different light. The world needs to relax and not let other people's business bother them! Its gotten to the point that movies like this are made and its awful because we know a lot of kids and adults out there learn and trust so much of what comes out of the tv.

No I haven't watched it. There is nothing wrong with Wicca and anyone who says there is something wrong with it is under educated. We hope that those people would learn before they speak that way they don't make a fool of themselves. I wouldn't say stupid. I'd say ignorant.

It is just the fear of the unknown. They think that if you are not Christian then you are a Satanist. People are horrid to Wiccans, Muslims, etc.... because they are not familiar with their religion!
Yes, I watched this particular movie, it was pretty good, though Lifetime movies usually are.

People are not stupid. They may be uneducated about Wicca or have no desire to learn about Wicca, that does not equate them with being stupid.

I agree with Justme... it's like everything else that we're fighting about in the U.S., homophobia, racism, politics.. people just hate things they don't understand.
EDIT: to xLr8-2xS (a commenter a few posts below) Why should we read the Bible? I don't believe in most of the bible so why should I or anyone care what it says? Christianity is not my religion.

Lifetime is the absolute worst channel EVER!!
It's supposed to be the women's network, but instead of empowering their viewers they make them afraid of everything...
