No matter where you go FROM or where you go TO, be sure you pack your sunscreen and a good travel medical policy. There are a lot of things that can ruin a holiday besides a bad sunburn - illnesses and injuries as well as foul ups in arrangements. Go to http://www.wavehelp.com/travel-medical/index.htm and click through on the little red phone booth for more information.
Best wishes.

Depends on what you're specifically looking for. Some basic questions come to mind(I am Owner of a Travel Agency):

1-How long will your trip be?
2-How many are going besides yourself?
3-Because many different locales qualify under "hot"(assuming you mean weather), do you have a geographical preference?
4-Depending on where you may want to go, the costs will vary. That said, do you have a Travel budget in place?
5-Are you looking for Air/Hotel? All-Inclusive?

Those minor issues are important because it will really simplify your search for that destination abroad that you're looking for. If you could kindly either call, email me at: indysteve1563@yahoo.com, or reach me through Yahoo Messenger, we can search what vacation options are available to you that will fit your wants, needs, and budget.

Try Rhodes or Turkey, I was in Rhodes last year in October still hot then, and Turkey the year before, in September, I would say Turkey is more for younger people though, but both great places to visit

Anywhere in Europe is still hot/ warm. If you are considering the Caribbean, check the hurricane season. Go anywhere in Europe, you can't go wrong if you are after a short haul destination.
