Simple..God created a sinful being and so then had to send a being down here to try to correct things and show us the way. The only problem is that Jesus gave up too soon. But if the Bible is correct..he will return to finish the job. I hope so..and soon.

i believe it was to help us to understand and relate to God in a human way; if we thought of God as a 'higher being' up there in the clouds, we would NEVER be able to appreciate and learn from Him the way He wanted us to. but since He sent Jesus Christ down to be born as a human, like us, it showed us that He could be tempted, He could feel hunger, could feel sadness, happiness, all things we as humans feel and experience. of course Jesus Christ is the only human that could EVER be perfect and pure and resist temptation, but it is to inspire and show us that thru Him all things are made clean. it is the only way we can be purified and understand and appreciate His sacrifice..... and even then many people don't believe, even Christians may not completely understand what it means. if u have chance, please read Romans 5-8... it says no matter what we've been thru, no matter what mistakes we've made, we can use it to become better people and make better decisions in our future. we are already cleansed of our past, present and future sins, so don't dwell on them; make use of your ability to love and be free from the bondage of sin; thru Christ we are given the ability to continue our daily lives trying to live the righteous path, instead of punishing ourselves for past sins. that is all washed away, and when we can understand and fully acknowledge that, we will acheive Peace, and live under God's Grace and be free to choose the righteous path w/ no judgement from others.

Jesus is the word of God in the flesh. Jesus is God.
If we learn God's word and follow Him (Jesus) the devil will have no power over us. Jesus defeated death (devil) when He rose from the death. Death has no power over us when we repent of our sins in Jesus' name. The devil killed Jesus in the flesh, so, now it is fair, God will destroy the devil.

I LOVE ZEALOTS FOR THE ABILITY TO BELIEVE IN SOMETHING SO FIERCELY, WITHOUT ANY REALY EVIDENCE OR COMMON SENSE. ANY ONE WHO BOTHERS TO STUDY HISTORY, KNOWS THAT JESUS IS A RECYCLED VERSION OF WHAT WAS FIRST A PERSIAN DIETY IN 2000 BCE NAME MITHRA WHICH FOLLOWS EXACTLY THE SAME STORY TOLD OF THE LIFE OF JESUS, THEN THERE WAS APOLLONIUS OF THE GREEK/ROMAN ERA, AND YES, YOU GUESSED IT, SAME EXACT STORY, DOWN TO THE DEATH AND RESSURECTION. THE GOSPELS THAT YOU CLING TO, THAT TELL THE LIFE OF JESUS WERE WRITTEN IN THIRD PERSON ALMOST 90 YEARS AFTER THE SUPPOSED RESSURECTION. PLEASE PEOPLE, ATTEMPT TO BECOME EDUCATED. YOU'RE NOT EVEN TRYING, YOU'RE BEING LED LIKE A LAMB TO THE SLAUGHTER.

JESUS WAS MANIFESTED TO GET A REVOLUTION AMONG THE PEOPLE..people who had forgotten themselves, their religon, their brotherhood.. to remind them of their forgotten religon,to forgive their sins... he was son of god & he returned to god...but his presence was strongly felt after he was manifested.
