If you hated your wedding pictures would you retake them?

Taken from experience, no. I hated our photos and photographer for the most part. It was like some juvenile had taken a disposable camera and did the shoot for us. It was horrible. There were a few that are decent, but overall it was quite a dissappointment. But there's no sense in retaking them.. That was a once in a lifetime moment, capturing once in a lifetime reactions, feelings, emotions. Like me, I think you'll just have to live with what you got and make the best of it. Wish you the best:)!

No way. Wedding photos should be to capture a moment so they should be just as much as a keepsake if they're not wonderful. If you retake them, you're not going to capture the essence of the day. I was less than happy with the way I looked in some of my wedding photos but the huge smile on my face captures what it was all about.

This is why I always recommend that you hire the best photographer that you can afford. The pictures are most important part of your wedding, because they're the only permanent part. Skip the limos, have a limited bar, get smaller centerpieces, but never skimp on the photos.

No. Our photographer was awful. He offered to do a reshoot but that is a lot to ask out of the wedding party. Also, it wouldn't really be your wedding day pictures, just pictures of you in your wedding attire.

Personally, no - I don't see the point.

Wedding pictures are pictures of the "wedding." You can take pictures of you in your gown and suit, but they won't be "wedding" pictures.

Probably not -- as the magic of the day wouldn't be there.

I lucked out with a fantastic photographer, who took awesome, awesome shots.

If out of all the pics taken, you can't find a few that you like, or you can't have them edited so that you like them, and it's going to be one of those things that you always regret then yes, go for it.
