Because he will accept below market wages and benefits, and because if an employer hires many illegals they don't want to hire others who might figure it out and report them, from what I have read. If the poorly educated legal person speaks English only, and the poorly educated illegals speak Spanish only, and there are mostly illegals, it is also hard to get the work done for the legal guy who can't understand what the others are saying to him at work.

This is not a scenario that applies to me, but I feel badly for those who do hit up with it. They wouldn't be taking that job if they were well educated but now they are being required to speak a second language to get a job in this country because the illegal foreigners don't speak English.

I don't know how often that happens, but I understand the general impact applies even with legal workers, which is why some feel so strongly about English in America. In Mexico I understand you have to speak Spanish fluently to get a job. Is that true? I just saw it on a response.

He is illegal, that is how he dose it, if he wasn't here in the first place he could not take the job. Their are alot of people that can't be a college graduate, either their grades were not acceptable or they didn't have the money, or just plain not smart enough, not everyone is smart and we need those jobs for people that are not smart or poorly educated. And if the illegal was not here he could not get the job, right.

By being here illegally and willing to work for a lower wages the illegal has changed the rules, the Establishment that hires illegals now can dictate what amount to pay instead of what's fair knowing they have a large supply of workforce coming everyday across the border, many places will not hire US citizens and using the excuse that they are over qualified for that job, also the illegal will only work on that place until he gets his citizenship, the 1986 amnesty proved that, all the illegals before 1986 have now left those jobs and took better paying jobs or went on the welfare bandwagon since they are now here legally

I agree with you. That's why maybe you bums out there should finished high school and go to college and get a good job that an illegal won't take from you. And don't give me the "Some people can't go to college because they can't afford it." No, that's not true. There was a movie (a true story) about a homeless girl and she stayed in high school and studied really hard and went to Harvard! If a hobo went to Harvard, I'm sure you people who have it way better can at least make it in a community college. Anyway, the lesson is stay in school and you won't have to worry about nobody taking you're job, especially an illegal!

So very true my friend....This supposed free market, this country we all call USA, demands it.....

Let the market dictate who deserves the job and who doesn't.

If an illegal, beats me out of a job, SHAME ON ME....I don't deserve it...After all, its only capitalism, no?

Honestly, for those who are in competition with illegals for a job, you need to get an education. If your educated, then you have nothing to fear....But for the future, the children of those illegals today, will get an education tommorrow and will make this a better country, because education always does....

That is the type of backwards thinking that has gotten us into this mess in the first place. They have no right being here, and they should not be getting ANY job. No American deserves to lose a job to an illegal alien, regardless of intelligence.

You honestly do not understand? Who are you calling poorly educated? Think it through and you might figure it out.

Not only does he take the job away from a US citizen, he also takes it away from a LEGAL immigrant, AND he perpetuates a system of exploitation. He hurts himself as much as the poor LEGAL applicant with his starving family in the wings waiting for years and years to immigrate LEGALLY to the US. What makes you, who broke the law and still has no respect for it, more worthy than him? What? Please tell me because I know him and others like him and I don't see how anyone could be more worthy, especially an ungrateful, unaccountable, law-breaking person who despises the legal citizens of the country he wants to live in.

They don't, if an illegal immigrant can "take away" a job from a poorly educated us citizen, maybe they should return to school and not just sit there and point fingers to place blame!

Or just stop hating sqwirls! LOL!

That really makes no sense. A poorly educated illegal person taking a job from a poorly educated legal person is nonsense. There is no argument here,.
