That's a good question. My initial reaction is to say that sin separates us from God and the more we sin, the easier it becomes the next time. This is Satan's nefarious way. So, yes, homosexuality and any other sins can be gateways to more sin if we do not repent, believe in the Savior, and model our lives to be like Christ. May God bless and keep you.

Homosexuality is not natural. One can argue that it may be since some people are just gay. Well being gay and fruity doesn't mean that you should be involved in homosexual conduct. It's society that will plague a gay person into believing that his behaviour is gay therefore homosexual.
Regarding religion, yes homosexuality is a sin. It is condoned by most major religions including Christianity and Islam. This is not a matter of opinion, rather a matter what is actually instructed in their respetive religious letters.

LOL No...just a Marijuanna is NOT a gateway drug. Homosexuality does not lead to other sins.
Besides, my spirit tells me homosexuality is exactly the sexuality I was born with so following those needs for love and companionship are completely natural and healthy.

Christian condemnation of homosexuality comes from ancient orders to avoid it, and it doesn't take into account that those biblical commands were not about the modern concept of homosexuality (or even the more common practices back then).
Basically, the biblical rules were to keep people away from pagan temple prostitutes, especially in the New Testament. Christians have overgeneralized those rules and hurt a lot of people in the process.

For what it's worth, Yes homosexuality is a gateway to sin but most people think it's a natural identity of who they are and they can't seem to love someone of the opposite sex. But really, that is just another lie from the masters of all lies himself (satan) it is NOT who you truly are, nor what you were created to do. Ask God to deliver you from this homosexual spirit with a sincere heart and you will be freed. God bless you.

Homosexuality is a SUPREME sin. It encompasses an entire LIFE of SIN. The GATEWAY is believing that HOMOSEXUALITY is NOT A CHOICE!

it isn't a sin. It is just a way for people to scare other people in to thinking the same. christian freaks need to get a life. It is also supposed to be a sin to judge. lets face it the bible is a book of stories. It is straight men and women that go out raping people first. It is the religous people that go around wanting to kill those who they think are "possesd by the devil" or burning down abortion centers

Nope, the first sin you comit is your gateway sin, and that tends to be lying. As you're lying about homosexuality being a sin, you have now started down your spiral stairway to hell. Meet you at the bottom.

No it isn't a gateway sin. IT'S PLAINLY A SIN! No where in the Bible does it say that the Lord condones it. If you're a Christian and believe that everything in the Bible is truth, you will know that.

The actual act itself according to the bible and religion, yes but i think as in any relationship that is not confined in "Love" is just a sexual act, now depending on your moral aptitude "just having sex" with someone is sinful and eventually very harmful to your spirit and deeper your soul.
The "gateway" way to sin i beleive is hate, especially if it's something you do, you hate, about your self...
