What are Cuban men like in a relationship? Cuban men and black women, how about that?

Well, I have never been with a man outside of my race (black) until now. So far I am loving every bit of it, but I keep hearing negative things about Cuban men. He has been wonderful in every way so far, but where is his flaw?

Cuban men are usually good about buying you gifts, they are extremely good in bed, they like to show that they are in charge but at home they NEED their womans support and they are not afraid to let people know that the woman is the the one in charge, but lonce they know that you respect him. Their are quick to make assumptioms, they think they are street smart. Do not be easy on this type of men. Make him work for every little thing, if you know what I mean. He is not white!!! they love family and have a very good heart when it comes to things related to family. One thing is that they love thier food cooked right, so you better learn how to cook his rice and beans and if you use a pressure cooker, they may be impressed. Depends how old school he may be. If he is younger than 25 and raised here, then most of this doesnt apply. This only applies to people raised in Cuba or here but raisedthe old fashion cuban way. You better have your house clean at all times and dining out is fine but not everyday. Treat him just like a brother when it comes to love games, they are hard headed. I hope this helps. I love Cuban Men. And dont listen to the negativism from other people. Make sure there is respect, and get to know him, make him work for what he wants.

They are very loyal to a point. I have one that is married (not a good marriage) that I became friends with and against my better judgement have now fallen for. They will break your heart if you don't guard it! It is not just a Cuban male thing it is a male thing in general. Although Cuban men can be hard to resist the way they talk and their smiles...keep a wall up!

Well I am an American woman I speak only English in 2012 I met a Cuban man at the local Laundry mat in Las Vegas. He was mopping the floor near closing time and we exchanged numbers in spite of the fact he did not speak English! We began a crazy, passionate love affair that lasted 3 years in fact whenever I return to Vegas I see him and we relive the passion as if no time has passsed. I moved to Californis and this is when the relationship ended, and he was broken hearted and so was I ! I can say this man gave me the best sex in my life! He was a liar, a cheat, but when he was sweet my GAD he was SWEET! I taught him English and today he speaks English ( not great but not bad) because of me and that makes me feel good. He is very stubborn full of pride and arrogant. With all this being said This Cuban man was the love of my life and we shared chemistry, passion and romance that NOBODY could ever take from us..... To understand a Cuban man you must understand communist mentality. These men come from a 3rd world country. Cuba is a beautiful country but the needs of the people are great, therefore they lie, steal, manipulate, and so on. You have to have a great deal of patience, understanding, and endurance. Do not expect that he understand or even gets the American way...and sex doesn't over value those values.

I met my Cuban in Miami. I m American born half Hispanic & half white. We had a fling while I was on vacation he ended up hopping a bus 2 months later to where I lived in Washington DC. They are charming, passionate lovers who are crazy jealous & possessive with a strong tendency to lie & cheat. (That is primarily for the underprivileged). The Cubans who are well educated and came from wealthier families don t appear to be that way. I ended up marrying him & was with him for 5 years. He rarely worked & didn t contribute to the household finances. He left frequently for Florida then would come back home. He pawned my jewelry. He was a charming sweet bum who I loved very much but could be so jealous that I had to keep my eyes down at the ground around other men. He was somewhat abusive & moody and I later found out he had a domestic violence charge in Marathon. My Hispanic cousins warned me about how Cuban men are and will use wealthy Americans and I thought they were being prejudiced. They will send all their money to their Mamis in Cuban but live the good life off their American spouse. The stereotype that warned me of is true. Their idea of family is not the way we are brought up with in US . Thanks god we are finally divorced. The only word I can think of to describe lower class Cuban men is "user" or "parasite". They are fun and hot but stand your ground and don t be too generous. Make them work for it.

I'm a white women and I couldn't agree with you more. I don't care if black women date white men. I say go for it. I don't feel threatened. There is one man for every woman out there. I will say that in the US at least, there are twice as many black men married to white women, than the opposite... according to the 2010 census. So black men marry more white women than black women marry white men. That's a census fact from one year ago. Still, remember we are all the human race and there is someone for everyone out there.
