I can tell you that sushi is likely one of the healthiest foods on the planet. It has seaweed, assorted veggies and fresh fish. Don't worry about weight, worry (if you must) about health.

yes, as long as you don't do the 'all you can eat sushi'

As you've probably heard, too many carbs (or too much of anything for that matter) is not good for your diet. So don't go exclusively to sushi.

If you're looking at something like Atkins or South Beach first two weeks (the radical phase), then choose Sashimi instead of Sushi. After that, regular portions of sushi should be OK.

Yes but much better if you can get it with brown rice as suggested by new gov. pyramid. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way you have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.

Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

It can but go for the brown rice veggie sushi. I just want to point out that sushi does not mean fish like many seem to think. Sushi refers to the rice.
