If Most food companies acknolodge America's obesity problem why do they make unhealthy foods?

Most Companies in the food industry acknolege america's health problems and still they serve potato chips/cheetos/salty chips/Cheeseburgers and more. even though some make healthy versions of there foods it's some times not healthy enough or that they still advertise and produce the unhealthy product. And even though some might say for money (that's what i heard from some local people before i remembered about Yahoo Awnsers) but more people (including parents and Concerned children) might pay for the healthy version if it is good for them and others around them.

i wish everybody would stop blaming the Food Companies for the obesity problem!Nobody ever forced me to eat at Mac Donald's....Super sizing orders??it is MY CHOICE what i eat and how much junk food i put in my Body.When was the last time somebody kidnapped you and forced you at gunpoint to wolf down a big mac with super sized fries?i am sick and tired of the blame game!i love junk food just as much as the next person..and yes sometimes my kids get a kids meal too.BUT in moderation!If i don't want to go through the drive through for Lunch i brown bag something healthy.if i crave a burger i can go with a small one and just leave it at that.kids our days are obese because lack of exercise and to much junk,a bag of chips and hours of video games cant be good if done in excess if balanced with healthy snacks and some active playtime outside it wont hurt a kid if they pig out sometimes.Moderation and Balance are everybody personal choice and not something the food companies dictate to me.For the Price of a Super Value Meal i can get an apple a bottle of water and a healthy sandwich..the Choice is mine and mine alone.Just like everything in life,drugs,alcohol,junk food and other unhealthy choices are a personal problem and not dictated by Company's

The Money....Money equals the life of a greedy man, and people will probaly 70% of the time don't care of the problem and will just put it to the side like a unimportant issue of life. The problem is, we've been getting used to just "pigging-out" of fast food restaraunts, such as McDonalds(TM).

We need to learn on our own to eat healthy or we'll have problems for years on and we'll just get bigger and bigger.

They produce it because people buy it. If people didn't buy it, the companies would eventually notice that they're losing money on the product and stop making it.
